Márcio Azevedo

Márcio Azevedo's work experience starts with their current role as the Vice President of Engineering at NA-KD.com since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Engineering at NA-KD.com from September 2021 to July 2022.

Before joining NA-KD.com, Márcio held a Senior Engineering Manager position at Farfetch from August 2017 to August 2021. In this role, they scaled the engineering teams, managed a group of engineering managers and ICs, and worked in various areas such as customer acquisition, customer retention, and marketing communications.

Prior to Farfetch, Márcio worked as an Engineering Manager at Basecone from September 2016 to August 2017. Márcio also has experience at Celfinet, where they held the roles of Senior Engineering Manager from May 2014 to August 2016, Engineering Manager from May 2013 to April 2014, and Senior Software Engineer / Tech Lead from August 2011 to May 2013.

Before Celfinet, Márcio worked as a Senior Software Engineer at GSOFT SA from March 2010 to August 2011, and as a Software Engineer at Glintt from March 2008 to March 2010.

Márcio Azevedo attended the Universidade do Minho from 2002 to 2008, where they obtained a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. In 2014, they also completed the Certified Scrum Master (CSM®) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
