Samet Boyacı

Samet Boyacı has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering and data analysis. Samet is currently serving as the Head of Data Engineering at NA-KD.com, where they lead a team in designing and developing data systems, implementing Apache Airflow and DBT for data transformation, and recruiting talented individuals for the team. Prior to this, Samet worked as a Data Warehouse Manager at NA-KD.com, where they led the data warehouse team, executed the DWH transformation project, and designed and implemented multi-dimensional models.

Before joining NA-KD.com, Samet worked at Trendyol Group as a Senior Product Owner and Product Owner, where they were responsible for building reporting environments for internal customers, managing and prioritizing the Product Backlog of DWH, and aligning with the company's roadmap.

Samet also has experience working at Yapı Kredi as a Senior Data Warehouse & Data Mining Analyst and at Bosch Rexroth and Coşkunöz Metal Form as an intern.

Samet Boyacı has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering from Yildiz Technical University, which was earned from 2009 to 2014. Samet also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Big Data Analytics from MEF University, where they studied from 2017 to 2018. In addition, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Bahcesehir University from 2016 to 2018. Prior to their university education, Samet attended Bursa Anatolian High School from 2004 to 2008, focusing on Mathematics. Samet has also obtained several certifications including The Complete Hands-On Introduction to Apache Airflow from Udemy in January 2022, Google Cloud Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals from Google in August 2021, SDLC Certification from Istanbul Technical University in June 2016, Teilnahmebestätigung A2.2 from Goethe-Institut e.V. in April 2012, and Teilnahmebestätigung Intensivkurs A2.1 from Goethe-Institut e.V. in August 2011.
