Sir John Laurie Bt is an experienced professional in industrial architecture and nuclear energy, currently serving as the Industrial Architecture Manager at NAAREA since June 2023, focusing on the XAMR molten salt micro-generator. As Président of Progrès Nucléaire since February 2018, Sir John promotes advancements in nuclear energy systems. Additionally, Sir John founded Fission Liquide, previously Energie du Thorium, to advocate for the benefits of sustainable nuclear energy. Sir John's extensive career includes key roles at Groupe Renault and Nissan Technical Center Europe, contributing significantly to vehicle design and architecture, along with early experience at SAIA-Burgess Electronics and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
