Amy Frandsen Maxson, CHES, currently serves as a Senior Program Analyst in Immunization at NACCHO since March 2020, after previously holding the position of Program Analyst in the same department. Prior to their work at NACCHO, Amy was a Research Analyst and Research Associate with the National Association of State Alcohol and Drug Abuse Directors from November 2017 to March 2020. Amy also gained experience as a Prevention Program Manager at the Utah Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health from September 2015 to October 2017 and as a Prevention Fellow at SAMHSA from October 2013 to September 2015. Earlier roles include an internship at Genetic Alliance and various positions at Brigham Young University as a Lab Assistant and Testing Administrator. Currently pursuing a Master of Public Health in Health Promotion at The George Washington University, Amy previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Brigham Young University in 2013.
