Assistant Director, Virtual Events Administration at Nacha

Kayla Quinn, M.A. has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Kayla began their career in 2010 at the YMCA, where they supervised and organized programs for children in daycare and before/after school settings. In 2011, they worked at Lock Haven University as an Administrative Assistant, assisting the Resident Director with office work and special projects. In 2011, they also started working with the Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania as a Camp Unit Assistant, where they scheduled and facilitated outdoor programs for campers. Kayla continued working with the Girl Scouts in various roles, including Program Specialist and Leadership Director, where they trained and evaluated campers' leadership competencies. In 2014, they interned at Pax Lodge, one of the four World Centers for the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS), where they planned and implemented events and programs. Kayla also worked as a Youth Center Coordinator at Pocono Family YMCA, providing a safe and inclusive community for grade school children. From 2014 to 2015, they supported the Program Department operations at Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania, assisting with program planning, implementation, and database upkeep. In 2015, they joined Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont as a Program Specialist/Assistant Camp Director, managing weekend events and providing onboarding and event management support. Kayla was later promoted to Outdoor Experience Manager/Camp Director, where they managed a summer camp program with a large budget and directly supervised staff. In 2018, they transitioned to Meredith College as a Residence Director, where they provided crisis management intervention and documentation for on-campus students and managed residence halls. Kayla'smost recent role was at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they served as an Assistant Director, overseeing a team of college advisers and providing training and development support. Currently, Kayla works as an Assistant Director, Virtual Events Administration at Nacha.

Kayla Quinn, M.A. has a Master of Arts degree in Higher Education from Appalachian State University, which they obtained from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Recreation Management from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania, completing their undergraduate studies from 2010 to 2014.
