Matthew Durand

Matthew Durand currently serves as Deputy General Counsel at NACS since January 2025. Previously, Matthew held various positions at EG America from 2020 to December 2024, including Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Senior Counsel for Legislative & Regulatory matters. Matthew's earlier experience includes roles at Cumberland Farms from 2013 to 2020, where Matthew progressed from Manager of Government Affairs & Public Policy to Legislative Affairs Associate. Matthew also worked at the U.S. Department of Justice and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as an Aide and Law Clerk, respectively. Matthew holds a Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School, a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration, Political Science, and Communications from Stonehill College, and an Executive Certificate in Corporate Governance from Cornell University. Additionally, Matthew is pursuing a Specialization Certificate in Business Foundations from The Wharton School.
