Seçkin ALAN

Seçkin ALAN has worked in the IT industry since 2013. Seçkin started their career as a System Engineer at Beyaz.net, where they managed media servers, HTTP servers, DB servers, big traffic, HA systems, and developed live stream and VOD systems. Seçkin also worked as a Software Developer. In 2016, they moved to Kartaca as a DevOps and System Engineer, where they had experience with Java Applications, Cassandra, MySQL NDB Cluster, Redis, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, MemSQL, HAproxy, Corosync, ETL, Tomcat, supervisor, memcache and Hazelcast. Seçkin also managed to migrate to Continuous Integration using Atlassian Bamboo. In 2017, they returned to Medianova CDN as a DevOps Engineer, where they troubleshot issues relating to Linux server distributions. In 2019, they joined Tukin1Hour as a Software Team Lead, where they were responsible for transitioning the project from an India-based team to an in-house team. In 2021, they moved to Vodafone as a Senior DevOps Engineer, where they created an automation and CI/CD implementation for microservices architecture for the complete SDLC cycle. Currently, they are working at NADUVI as a Senior DevOps Engineer, where they are responsible for migrating the platform from a monolithic approach to Container based, implementing DevOps best practices, and working with internal stakeholders, backend engineers, frontend engineers, and data engineers.

Seçkin ALAN attended Suleyman Demirel University from 2011 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Programming. Seçkin has also obtained numerous certifications from various institutions, including The Linux Foundation, Rancher Labs, and LinkedIn. These certifications include Introduction to GitOps LFS169 (November 2021), Certified Rancher Operator: Level One (April 2021), Continuous Integration: Tools (April 2021), DevOps Foundations: Site Reliability Engineering (April 2021), Kubernetes: Cloud Native Ecosystem (April 2021), Kubernetes: Package Management with Helm (April 2021), Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Cert Prep: The Basics (March 2021), Kubernetes: Microservices (March 2021), and Nail Your DevOps Interview (March 2021).
