Michael Miller

Michael Miller is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in asset protection, environmental health and safety (EHS), risk management, and sustainability. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Advance Auto Parts, Michael leads a team focusing on asset protection and EHS while overseeing risk management and sustainability initiatives. Michael's career includes leadership roles in various organizations, including Neuse River Insurance Company as CEO and Chairman of the Board, and significant contributions to the National Association for Environmental Management (NAEM), where Michael has held positions such as Past Chair and President. Previously, Michael held senior positions at Dean Foods, Apex Tool Group, and Danaher, among others, driving EHS strategies and enhancing safety cultures across multiple sectors. Michael holds a BA in Environmental Science and Policy from Clark University and has completed graduate studies in Environmental Science and Policy, further supported by a wealth of certifications and professional development in project management and Six Sigma.
