Anne Engel

Anne Engel has extensive experience in leadership within the healthcare sector, currently serving as the head of BørnefamilieEnheden and district manager at Næstved Kommune since March 2009. Responsible for the management of District SYD, which comprises 22,000 residents, Anne oversees three care centers and a large home care area, leading a team of 320 professionals through various management structures. Prior experience includes roles as district leader and senior nurse at Guldborgsund Kommune, where responsibilities involved district establishment and integration, as well as staff management of up to 280 employees. Anne Engel holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Public Governance from Copenhagen Business School and a bachelor's in nursing from Sygeplejeskolen i Næstved. Currently pursuing a Master of Public Organization at Roskilde University, Anne continues to enhance professional expertise in strategic leadership and healthcare management.
