Elizabeth Lasko, CAE has extensive work experience in the field of membership and marketing communications. Elizabeth began their career at the National Association for Business and Educational Radio as a Marketing Coordinator from May 1988 to July 1991. Elizabeth then joined the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) in 1991, where they held various positions in marketing, membership, public relations, and communications. In 2010, they were promoted to Assistant Executive Director for Members and Constituency Relations, overseeing a team responsible for communications strategy, website management, member services, public relations, and more. In 2011-2012, they led the organization's name change and re-branding campaign. In 2014, they joined The Monitoring Association as the Vice President of Marketing and Communications. Elizabeth returned to NAfME in 2018 as the Assistant Executive Director of Membership and Marketing Communications. Throughout their career, they have been a passionate advocate for access to music education for all and has made significant contributions to strategic planning, organizational development, and mission advancement.
Elizabeth Lasko, CAE attended the University of Richmond from 1982 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Music. Elizabeth also attended The Madeira School, although the specific dates and details of their education at this institution are unknown. In addition to their formal education, Elizabeth Lasko obtained the certification of Certified Association Executive from ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership in January 2018.
