Claudio Tongiani

Claudio Tongiani is a Senior Hardware Engineer at NAGRA since August 2013, specializing in the front-end design and verification of secure hardware and firmware SoC components for PayTV and IoT applications, including cryptographic engines and video watermarking. Previously, Claudio served as a Hardware Engineer at Renesas Electronics Europe from November 2010 to July 2013, focusing on the design of IPs for automotive communication protocols. Additional experience includes working as an Electrical Engineer at CERN, where communication protocols for High Energy Physics Experiments and FPGA design were developed, as well as serving as a Digital Design Engineer at the VLSI Systems Research Group at the University of Pisa. Claudio holds an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering from Università di Pisa, completed in 2009 and 2006, respectively.
