Denise Genao

Denise Genao currently serves as a Senior Administrative Assistant at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), providing support to the Capital Markets and Investment Analysis office and specifically assisting the Director of Securities Valuation since April 2019. Prior to this role, Denise held a similar position at Fitch Ratings, supporting the Global Head of Structured Finance and Covered Bonds for a brief period. Denise began at Fitch Solutions as an Administrative Assistant, focusing on the Sales and Client Service Teams (Americas). With earlier administrative experience at The Global Emerging Markets Group (GEM), City University of New York, and a Cooperative Education internship at the NYC Department of Education, Denise has developed strong organizational and support skills throughout a diverse career. Denise earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from St. Francis College and holds a High School Diploma from Franklin D. Roosevelt High School.
