Lucas Cabral has extensive experience in legislative advocacy and public policy, currently serving as a Legislative Assistant at the NALEO Educational Fund since June 2018, where responsibilities include supporting federal policy efforts related to Naturalization, Diversity and Inclusion, and voting rights, as well as fostering bipartisan relationships among congressional staffers. Previously, Lucas worked at the National Hispanic Caucus of State Legislators as a Staff Assistant focusing on policy, research, and advocacy, where notable contributions included drafting policy resolutions on various social issues and facilitating a significant meeting of state legislators and stakeholders. In addition to workforce experience, Lucas holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and Policy from American University and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Affairs from Florida International University, complemented by minors in Political Science, Government, and Italian Language and Literature.
