Leslie Carranza

Leslie Carranza is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in both mental health education and the performing arts. Currently serving as a Mental Health First Aid Instructor at NAMI Metro Suburban since September 2023, Leslie has also worked as a Stagehand for IATSE Local 2 since June 2022. Previous roles include Stagehand at Chicago Opera Theater, Van Driver at Midwest Foods, and Site Coordinator for Taller de José, where Leslie implemented a pilot program focusing on community service connection and case management. Additionally, Leslie has experience as an After School Program Coordinator at Catholic Charities and a Family Reunification Specialist at Heartland Human Care Services, advocating for unaccompanied minors. Leslie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from Augustana College, where involvement included serving as a Student Stage Manager.
