Barbara Amy

CFO at NANA

Barbara Amy is NANA’s chief financial officer (CFO) and provides strategic leadership for the corporation’s business and finance functions. As CFO, she is responsible for managing the company’s budget and financial planning and supports NANA leadership and employees with fiscal management and analysis. Barbara oversees the finance department, which provides critical business functions including (but not limited to) payroll, financial reporting, accounts receivable and payable, sponsored projects accounting, international operations and financial systems.

Barbara has considerable experience in the field of corporate finance where she has demonstrated her excellent leadership, communication, as well as strategic planning skills. Before joining NANA, she spent 16 years working in the finance department at the Alaska Railroad Corporation where she held the title of CFO between 2013 and 2023. Barbara earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Connecticut and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago.
