Shalom Elkayam

Shalom Elkayam is the Head of AI at Nanit. Prior to this, they were the Computer Vision Research Team Manager at BeyondMinds from February 2021 to November 2021. Shalom was also the Deep Learning & Computer Vision Algorithms Team Manager at Applied Materials from March 2015 to February 2021, where they were responsible for End-to-End algorithms development and leading the team’s future technologies research. From February 2014 to March 2015, they were an Algorithms Engineer at RSIP Vision. In addition, they did a summer internship at Tel Aviv University from June 2011 to September 2011 and was a Teaching Assistant at Tel Aviv University from January 2011 to April 2015.

Shalom Elkayam completed a direct Master program in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tel Aviv University, with a Summa Cum Laude designation. Shalom also has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tel Aviv University, which they completed with a Summa Cum Laude designation.
