Yuan Gao

Yuan Gao is a highly experienced executive in the lithium and materials industries, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Advisors for Pure Lithium Corporation, Nano One Materials Corp., and Mitra Chem since October 2023, December 2021, and September 2021 respectively. As of October 2023, Yuan also holds the position of Lead Independent Director and Chairman of the Governance & Nomination Committee at Lithium Americas Corp., where leadership roles have been held since October 2019. Previous roles include Vice Chairman of the Board at Qinghai Taifeng Pulead Lithium Energy Co Ltd., and various senior leadership positions at Molycorp Inc. and FMC Corporation. Yuan's educational background includes a PhD in Physics from The University of British Columbia and a Certificate of Professional Development from The Wharton School.
