Ben Tatham

Principal Software Developer / Software Architect at Nanometrics Inc

Ben Tatham's work experience begins in 1996 as a Counselor at Camp Young Judaea Texas and continues in 1997 as a Counselor at Camp Ramah Darom. In 2000 and 2001, they worked as a Summer Intern at Isochron and the Center for Space Research at the University of Texas at Austin, respectively. In 2002, they became a Systems Engineer at Nanometrics - Seismic Monitoring Solutions, and in 2004, they transitioned to the role of Senior Software Engineer / Team Leader - Application Software. Ben held this position until 2017 when they became the Principal Software Developer / Software Architect at the same company. In this role, they are responsible for examining new technologies, maintaining technical consistency, and communication between product groups.

Ben Tatham graduated from McGill University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Computer Engineering. Ben then pursued further education at Carleton University from 2005 to 2011, where they obtained a Master of Applied Science (M.A.Sc.) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. In 1996 and 1997, Ben briefly studied at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, although specific details about their degree and field of study during that time are unknown.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Ben has also acquired certifications outside of their formal education. In 2013, they obtained CPR/AED certification from the Canadian Red Cross, and in 2015, they earned the Joint Health and Safety Committee Member Certification from the Ontario Ministry of Labour.
