Raajdeep (Raaj) Venkatesan, MS, RAC, CMQ-OE, CBA, CQE has over 20 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs and Quality. From 2000 to 2005, they were a Graduate Assistant at the University of Southern California. From 2005 to 2011, they worked at Second Sight Medical Products in various roles, including Principal Quality Systems Engineer, Senior Quality Engineer & EtQ Administrator, Quality Engineer - II, Quality Engineer, and Quality Engineering Intern. From 2011 to 2012, they were a Principal Quality Engineer at BD. From 2012 to 2013, they were a US Regulatory Affairs and Quality Engineering Manager at Bruker Daltonics. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Director of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance at Bio-Rad Laboratories. From 2015 to 2019, they were a Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Quality at Exosome Diagnostics. From 2019 to 2021, they were the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs & Quality, Health and Wellness at Ancestry. From 2021 to 2022, they were the SVP, Regulatory Affairs & Quality at NovaSignal. Currently, they are the Chief Regulatory Officer at NanoMosaic Inc., where they are responsible for overseeing all aspects of regulatory affairs and quality for the company’s products in all geographies.

Raajdeep (Raaj) Venkatesan has an extensive educational background. Raajdeep (Raaj) began their formal education in 1992, when they attended St. Michael's Academy in Adyar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, where they studied Math, Physics, Chemistry & Biology. Raajdeep (Raaj) then went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering from Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy in 1994-1998. Raajdeep (Raaj) then attended the University of Southern California, where they earned three Master’s Degrees in Biomedical Engineering (1999-2001), Electrical Engineering (2001-2003), and Medical Device & Diagnostic Engineering (2003-2005). In addition to their formal education, Raajdeep has obtained numerous certifications, including Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (ASQ, 2014), Regulatory Affairs Certification - United States (Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS), 2014), Regulatory Affairs Certification Program (RAC-US, 2014), Regulatory Affairs Certification - European Union (Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS), 2013), Regulatory Affairs Certification Program (RAC-EU, 2013), RAPS Member (Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS), 2012), Certified Reliability Engineer (ASQ, 2011), Certified Quality Auditor (ASQ, 2010), Certified Biomedical Auditor (ASQ, 2010), and Certified Quality Engineer (ASQ, 2007).
