Travis McGee

Lead Systems Engineer- Starlab at NanoRacks

Travis McGee has an extensive work experience in the aerospace and defense industry. Travis started their career in the United States Air Force as a Lieutenant and later served as a Captain, working as a Systems Engineer and Project Manager. After leaving the Air Force, Travis joined Lam Research Corporation as a Manufacturing Development Engineer. Travis then moved to Defense Systems Group, where they worked as a Systems Engineer. Travis then worked at Aerojet as a Project Engineer Specialist. Travis joined United Launch Alliance, where they held various roles including Systems Engineer, Lead Project Engineer, Program Manager, and Lead Systems Engineer. Travis later joined Raytheon as a Principal Systems Engineer before moving to Lockheed Martin as a Sr Principal Systems Engineer. Travis currently works at Nanoracks LLC as the Lead Systems Engineer for the Starlab project.

Travis McGee earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology in 1995. Travis later pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Southern California from 2003 to 2006.
