Emily Lentz

Emily Lentz currently serves as an Application Scientist at Nanoscience Instruments since October 2022, following a significant period at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where Lentz engaged in various roles from August 2015 to October 2022, including Graduate Research Assistant, focusing on atomic force microscopy studies and developing a novel deposition method. Prior experience includes work as a Graduate Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant, where Lentz provided support for 3D printing services and taught chemistry lab sections. Earlier academic involvement at Marquette University included roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, where Lentz synthesized and characterized biocompatible materials, and as a Peer Tutor in chemistry, calculus, and French. Lentz earned a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BS in Chemistry and French from Marquette University.
