Project Engineer at Nanoscope

Sanghoon Kim is currently employed as a Project Engineer at Nanoscope Technologies LLC since February 2019. Prior to this, Kim was a Graduate Student at Duke University from August 2012 to September 2018, where they obtained a PhD in Optical Instrumentation and Image Processing. During their time at Duke University, Kim worked on designing a standalone, portable, low-cost optical coherence tomography (OCT) system for point-of-care imaging and conducted research projects using angle-resolved low coherence interferometry (a/LCI) to quantify structural biomarkers for predicting early stages of ocular disease and esophageal dysplasia. Kim also holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering & Physics from Duke University.
