Tushar Rane has held various positions in different companies, including NanoString Technologies, Inc., University of Southern California, and Johns Hopkins University. At NanoString, Tushar has worked on developing new microfluidic cartridge designs and improving the reliability of fluidic systems. Prior to this, Tushar was a postdoctoral fellow at USC, focusing on nanoparticle uptake in a 3D model of human colorectal carcinoma. Tushar completed a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University, where Tushar worked on droplet microfluidics for nucleic acid analysis and motor control optimization. With a background in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, Tushar showcases a strong expertise in a diverse range of scientific and engineering fields.
