Currently serving as a Senior Research Scientist at NanoXplore Inc. since November 2019, Abdou has previously held positions as a Specialist in Applications and Development at Kruger Biomatériaux, where market optimization and partnerships in traditional and non-traditional applications of Cellulose Filaments were key contributions. With a background that includes postdoctoral research at UQTR and The University of Texas at Austin, along with pivotal roles focused on biopolymers, non-isocyanate polyurethanes, and catalysts, Abdou holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Université de Bordeaux, where research emphasized metallic and organometallic nanomaterials.
