Cynthia MacDougall-Winston

Cynthia MacDougall-Winston has a diverse and extensive work experience.

Starting from 1995, they worked at Polaris Group as the Director of Education until 2001.

In 2002, they joined Partners HealthCare as the Director of Outcomes Management for a period of two years.

From 2004 to 2013, Cynthia served as the Director of Provider Payment Policy & Professional Reimbursement Strategy at Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA.

Cynthia then moved to Steward Health Care in 2013, where they worked as the Director of Revenue Integrity Audit until 2014.

In the same year, they had a short-term role as an Interim Manager, Charge Audit at Partners HealthCare.

From 2014 to 2019, Cynthia worked at Hallmark Health System, Inc. as the PHO - Director of Business Services, responsible for managing business services to benefit physicians and the hospital.

Following that, they joined Partners HealthCare as the Program Director - Quality and Safety in 2019 until 2022.

Currently, Cynthia is working at Nantucket Cottage Hospital, first as the Administrative Director of Physician Clinics from 2022 to 2023, and currently as the Vice President, Community Medicine.

Cynthia MacDougall-Winston attended UMass Boston from 1978 to 1992, where they earned a BA/CAGS degree in American History with a focus on Politics and Government. In addition, they attended the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital School of Practical Nursing from 1983 to 1984, where they obtained an LPN degree in Practical Nursing.
