Ryan Sim Yao Rong

Ryan Sim Yao Rong currently serves as an Associate System Engineer at Visa, participating in the Visa Technology Traineeship program since October 2024. Concurrently, Ryan is a Mentor and iGAVE Ambassador at Nanyang Technological University Singapore, promoting donation campaigns while achieving high performance in outreach efforts. Previous experience includes roles as a Biologist Intern at Star Array Pte Ltd, where Ryan conducted experiments on PCR machines, and as an Event Officer/Team Leader at Duck Learning, organizing educational workshops for children. Additional roles include Laboratory Assistant at Parkway Shenton Pte Ltd, where Ryan analyzed Covid ART samples, and Biotechnician at Thermo Fisher Scientific, involved in building medical machinery. Ryan's military experience includes serving as an Infanteer in the Singapore Armed Forces. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, expected in May 2024.
