Monika Bielka-Vescovi has extensive experience in the hospitality and wine industries. Monika has held various roles since 2005, starting as a Restaurant Manager at Sunflower Restaurant. Monika then moved on to become a Restaurant Manager & Sommelier at Bloom - Fox Restaurant Concepts in 2007. In 2008, they took on the role of Head Sommelier, Chairwoman of Wine Buying Committee at Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas, where they were responsible for handling all business aspects of the restaurant. In 2011, they became Regional Director of Sales at Dom Szampana, where they delivered champagne trainings and promoted knowledge about the Champagne wine region. That same year, they also took on the role of F&B Consultant at The Bonerowksi Palace and Director at Szko\u0142a Sommelier\u00f3w. In 2013, they became the Honorary President at Women and Wine Association. In 2014, they became a Lecturer at post graduate wine studies at Collegium Civitas and an Enology Lecturer at Collegium Medicum at Jagiellonian University. Most recently, in 2019, they became the Director of NVWA Wine Education Center and WSET Educator, Exam and Compliance Officer at Napa Valley Wine Academy.
Monika Bielka-Vescovi has a diverse educational background. Monika obtained their Master's degree from the Poznan University of Economics and Business in Corporate Strategy from 1997 to 2002. After that, they completed their Sommelier Diploma from the International Sommelier Guild in November 2007. From 2007 to 2016, they studied at the Wine and Spirit Education Trust, earning their DipWSET and WSET Nominated Educator in Wines and Spirits. In 2016, they completed their WSET Diploma and Weinakademiker from the Weinakademie Österreich. Finally, they attended the Institute of Masters of Wine from 2017 to 2019. Monika also holds certifications from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust, Weinakademie Österreich, and the International Sommelier Guild.
