Nicholas Riha

Nicholas Riha has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Network Security Engineer at the City of Naperville since October 2022. Previously, they worked as a Network Engineer at the City of Aurora from July 2019 to October 2022, where they were responsible for scripting in Python, configuring switches, and expanding infrastructure. Before that, they worked as a Network Engineer at 180 Engineering from December 2018 to July 2019, focusing on hardware and software installation, backups, and documentation. Nicholas also has experience as a Helpdesk Technician at Burger King - Tri City Foods, Inc. and Windstream Services, LLC, where they resolved technical issues and supported network equipment. Nicholas began their career as a Barista at Starbucks and a Lifeguard at Bolingbrook Park District and also worked as an IT Intern at RR Donnelley.

Nicholas Riha completed their high school education at Bolingbrook High School from 2010 to 2014, earning a high school diploma. Following that, they pursued further education at Joliet Junior College from 2013 to 2018, obtaining an Associate's Degree in Network and System Administration/Administrator. In November 2018, Nicholas obtained certification in CCNA from Cisco.
