Amy Wilson has over 8 years of work experience in the Human Resources field. Amy began their career in 2012 as a Front Desk Receptionist at Les Mills. In 2015, they joined NZ Police as a Liaison Officer and Vetting Officer. In 2017, they moved to Google as a Staffing Services Associate (EMEA), where they coordinated over 120 candidate interviews per week and led team communications on key hiring updates to senior stakeholders. In 2019, they joined Skyscanner as a Talent Acquisition Executive, where they developed a data-driven hiring plan and collaborated with senior leadership to meet hiring targets and manage headcount allocation across EMEA. In 2020, they moved to Graphy as a People Operations Generalist, where they managed all elements of the employee lifecycle from talent attraction to off-boarding and built robust People processes and systems from scratch. Currently, they are a People Lead at Napo Pet Insurance.
Amy Wilson completed a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Criminology and Psychology at Victoria University of Wellington from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained their NCEA Level 3 from Chilton Saint James School between 2003 and 2009. Amy also holds certifications from City, University of London (Writing for Children Certificate, obtained in June 2022), Ascend (Ascend's Leadership Program, obtained in June 2021), and the NZ Police (Communications and Coaching Course, obtained in March 2017).
