Yan Li

Yan Li has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. They started their career as a Photographer at Zeus Cultural Ltd. in 2011. They then worked as a Software Engineer at Alibaba Group from 2013 to 2015, progressing to the role of Senior Software Engineer. Following this, Yan worked as an iOS Engineer at LAIX and 石墨文档 in 2015. From 2016 to 2017, they served as a Senior Software Engineer (iOS) at EF Education First. Subsequently, Yan joined Fiserv Auckland as a Senior Software Developer (iOS) in 2017. They worked at Serato as a Senior Software Engineer from 2018 to 2021. Additionally, Yan created a Unicode tool for iOS, macOS, and Terminal called Cicero. In recent years, Yan worked at Long Bridge Securities Limited as a Principal Software Engineer, leading an independent team and contributing to the development of core libraries. They also worked on designing and building shared core libraries in various technologies. Currently, Yan holds the position of Senior Rust Engineer at Narrative.

Yan Li attended the South China University of Technology from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies.
