Kendra Cook has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Kendra currently works at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory as the Operations Systems Engineering Lead. In the past, they have held positions as the Vice President of Engineering at Atomos Space and as a Senior Systems Engineer at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Kendra also has experience as the Owner/Global Trade Compliance Professional at C2 International, where they provided consulting services to ensure companies maintained compliance with global trade regulations. Furthermore, they have experience in lead systems engineering roles at NOAA, 406 Aerospace, and Integrity Applications Incorporated. Earlier in their career, Kendra served as an Aerospace Engineer in the United States Air Force. Kendra holds a director's position in Corporate Compliance at Integrity Applications Incorporated, where they provided policies and procedures, training, and guidance related to export and ethical compliance. Kendra also served as the Director of Special Programs at Montana State University-Bozeman.
From 1999 to 2004, Kendra Cook attended Boston University, where they earned a degree in Aerospace Engineering. Kendra then pursued a Master of Science degree in Astronautical Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology from 2004 to 2006, specializing in Aerospace Navigation and Astrodynamics. Later, they obtained a second Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering, with a focus on Information Assurance, from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology in 2006-2007. Kendra also holds additional certifications including Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified US Export Compliance Officer (CUSECO), and Project Management Professional (PMP).
