Kristopher Wehage is an accomplished Robotics Technologist at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory since January 2017, specializing in modeling, simulation, engineering software development, and robotics autonomy software. Key achievements include leading the development of the "Enav-Ops" tool for surface simulations and creating several innovative tools for rover activity planning and terrain assessment. Previously, Kristopher served as a PhD Candidate at UC Davis, focusing on numerical algorithms in mechanical engineering, and held research roles in materials science. Kristopher's early career included positions as a Product Development Engineer and USA Research & Development Team Leader in bicycle component design. Kristopher holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, a Master’s in Materials Science and Engineering, and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
