Barbara Cohen

Barbara Cohen is a pioneering space scientist with over 15 years of leadership experience at NASA. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist for Lunar Science and Exploration, they lead mission science strategies for the Artemis missions and have managed multimillion-dollar space initiatives such as the Lunar Flashlight Mission. Barbara's past roles include Principal Investigator and Project Scientist, with expertise spanning lunar exploration, Mars missions, and in-situ resource utilization. They hold a PhD in Planetary Science from the University of Arizona and a BS in Geology/Earth Science from Stony Brook University.
