Diego Andriani is currently an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the USF College of Engineering's Smart and Sustainable Systems Lab, focusing on sustainable manufacturing practices and socio-environmental impacts. Previously, Diego contributed to fluid systems research in the Murphy Fluids Lab, analyzing the behavior of Antarctic Krill using MATLAB and ImageJ. As Professional Development Chair for ASME at USF, Diego has facilitated skill enhancement workshops for engineering students, achieving a 71% conversion rate with local companies. Additionally, Diego mentors students in the FIRST Robotics Competition and participates in the Bulls L.E.A.D. program, developing leadership skills. Diego also served as a University Tour Guide, engaging with diverse visitors and enhancing their experience at the University of South Florida. Diego is pursuing an undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida, expected to graduate in 2026.
