Jorge Sotomayor

Jorge Sotomayor has a distinguished career at NASA spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Research Portfolio Manager since January 2021, Jorge previously held various significant positions at the NASA Johnson Space Center from June 1998 to September 2022, including Lead Increment Scientist and Strategic Planning Lead for the International Space Station. Earlier in their career, Jorge worked as an Aerospace Engineer at NASA Glenn Research Center from February 1988 to June 1998. Jorge Sotomayor holds a Master of Science in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics and a Bachelor of Science in Physics, both from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
