Niki Werkheiser

Niki Werkheiser is a seasoned professional in aerospace technology, currently serving as the Director of Technology Maturation at NASA where responsibilities include overseeing the Game Changing Development Program and the Lunar Surface Innovation Initiative within NASA’s Space Technology Mission Directorate. With over two decades of experience at NASA and its affiliated organizations, Niki has held various significant roles such as NASA Program Executive for the Game Changing Development Program, Lead for the Lunar Surface Innovation Initiative, and Project Manager for both In-space Manufacturing and 3D Printing in Zero-G. Previous positions include management of crew safety and reliability, payload integration, and operations control at multiple NASA centers and with Boeing. Niki holds multiple degrees from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, including B.A.s in Russian Studies, a M.S. in Gravitational Biology, and a B.S. in Biology.
