Paul Scowen

Paul Scowen is a highly experienced astrophysicist currently serving as a Senior Research Astrophysicist at NASA since June 2021. Prior to this role, Paul held the position of Senior Research Professor at Arizona State University from May 2017 to June 2021 and was associated with the institution in various capacities, including Research Professor and Research Scientist, from 1992 to 2017. Earlier in Paul’s career, significant contributions were made as a Graduate Assistant at Rice University from 1987 to 1992. Paul Scowen earned a PhD in Astronomy and a MS in Astrophysics from Rice University, and a BS in Physics with Astrophysics from the University of Birmingham.
