Deputy Division Chief, Intelligent Systems Division at NASA

Scott Poll has been working in the field of intelligent systems for over two decades. Scott started their career at NASA Ames Research Center as a cooperative education student in 1992 and has been with the organization ever since. In their current role as deputy division chief, they are responsible for leading a team of engineers and scientists who develop advanced technologies to enable safe and reliable operation of robotic spacecraft.

Poll has held several other positions at Ames Research Center during their tenure, including technology integration manager for the sustainability base program, associate principal investigator for the prognostics in aviation safety program, and liaison for DARPA's System F6 program. Scott also served as group lead for diagnostics and prognostics, and deputy area lead for discovery and systems health.

Throughout their career, Poll has been dedicated to developing innovative technologies that help make space exploration safer and more efficient. Scott's experience and expertise have made him a valuable asset to the NASA team, and they continue to play a key role in advancing the agency's mission.
