Tess Caswell is an accomplished professional in the field of space exploration, currently serving as the ISS and Artemis CapCom at NASA since November 2023, providing critical communication between Mission Control and the International Space Station crew. With extensive experience at KBR, Inc. as the Exploration EVA Operations Testing Lead, Tess has defined processes for spacewalk planning associated with NASA's Artemis Program. Previous roles include Lead Capsule Controller at Blue Origin and involvement in various NASA missions, including serving as HERA Flight Engineer during a simulated asteroid mission. Tess holds a Ph.D. and Master’s degree in Geological Sciences from Brown University, as well as a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, with research focused on geophysical processes involving water ice.
