Trudy Kortes

Trudy Kortes has extensive experience at NASA, currently serving as the Director of Technology Demonstrations since November 2020. Previously, Trudy was the Chief of the Human Exploration & Space Operations Division at NASA Glenn Research Center from January 2019 to November 2020 and a Program Executive at NASA from September 2015 to December 2018, managing a $250 million annual budget program for technology demonstrations critical to future missions. Trudy's earlier role at NASA Glenn from November 2011 to September 2015 involved supervising project management in the Space Technology Project Office. Prior to NASA, Trudy worked as a Test Director at Lockheed Martin from August 1991 to January 1994. Trudy holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering Technology from the University of Houston.
