Vanessa Jones

Vanessa Jones currently serves as the CFO of the Strategic Investments Division at NASA Headquarters, a position held since March 2022. Prior to this role, Vanessa was a Project Resource Analyst at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory from July 2017 to March 2022, focusing on the Interplanetary Network Directorate. Vanessa's career at NASA began in 2008, during which time several positions were held, including Senior Program Analyst, Contracting Officer, and Contract Specialist, remaining with the organization until 2017. Vanessa earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics, with a minor in Political Science, from The University of Alabama from 2004 to 2008.
