Sylvester Andersen

Sylvester Andersen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the financial services and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as Associate Vice President of European Markets at Nasdaq since November 2006, Sylvester leads ETF sales efforts in Europe and oversees derivatives activities in Norway. Previous roles include Associate Vice President of Global Information Services, where significant strategic partnerships and Nasdaq's first venture capital investment in Europe were established. Sylvester initiated the Danish ETP market, launched Denmark's first ETF, and managed substantial customer portfolios as Sales Director for Nordic Sales & Customers. Earlier career highlights feature positions at Bayer HealthCare and Novo Nordisk, focusing on marketing and product management, as well as a role at the Royal Danish Embassy in Mexico.
