Gretchen Herter, LMHC, has extensive experience in the field of mental health and education, currently serving in a private practice since June 2020 and as the Lower School Student Learning Coordinator and Coordinator of Special Projects at Nashoba Brooks School since August 2019. Previous roles include Mental Health Therapist at Marblehead Counseling Center, School Counselor at Nashoba Brooks School and Milton Academy, and Adjunct Professor at Lesley University, where Gretchen taught Child Psychology and Counseling Internship & Seminar courses. Earlier career positions include School Counselor at Hillside School, Developmental Specialist at Bay Cove Human Services, and various internship roles. Gretchen holds an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University and a Bachelor of Science in Counseling from the same institution.

Situated on a beautiful 30-acre campus in historic Concord, Massachusetts, Nashoba Brooks School serves all genders in Preschool through Grade 3, and students who identify as female in Grades 4 through 8.
