Wacey Richards

Wacey Richards has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and technology. Wacey most recently worked for Nashville Biosciences as the Director of Engineering starting in October 2022. Prior to that, they held roles at Swell and Secure Cloud, where they served as a Solutions Architect & Director of IT from January 2022 to October 2022, and as a Senior Cloud Architect & Entrepreneur from 2017 to 2022, respectively.

In addition, Wacey has worked at DeepSee as the Chief Architect and later as the Head of Engineering & Chief Architect from 2019 to 2022. Wacey also worked at Lingotek as the Director Of DevOps from 2018 to 2019, where they demonstrated expertise in AWS cloud and hybrid architecture, microservices, and serverless architecture.

Furthermore, Wacey held the position of Cloud Engineering Manager at Western Governors University from 2017 to 2018, overseeing a team of DevOps professionals and providing guidance on AWS architecture and cloud native direction.

Prior to that, Wacey served as the Vice President of DevOps at Finicity from 2016 to 2017, where they designed, deployed, and managed fault-tolerant systems on AWS and on-premise/hybrid environments. Wacey also worked as a Program Manager at Identifix, Inc. from 2010 to 2013, leading teams in content and web development, and driving improvements in business intelligence and analytics.

Wacey Richards began their education in 1994 at South Summit High School, where they completed their high school education from 1994 to 1997. After a long break, they pursued further education in 2017 at Helio Training, specializing in Full-Stack Web Development. In 2018, they enrolled at Western Governors University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Cloud and Systems Administration. Currently, Wacey is attending Zero To Mastery Academy, although specific details regarding their degree or field of study are not provided.
