Ishmet Davidson

Ishmet Davidson is the current CEO of Media24 at Naspers. Ishmet has held various management positions at different companies throughout their career. Ishmet was previously the General Manager at On the Dot, Head of the media distribution business of Media24, and GM News Division at Media24 (Pty) Ltd. Ishmet also has experience as the General Manager at Independent News & Media and Group Finance Director at Juta & Company (Pty) Ltd.

Ishmet Davidson has an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Heriot-Watt University, as well as an ACIS from the Chartered Institute of Secretaries. Ishmet also holds a BCom in Accounting and Business Economics from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, and has a National dip in cost accounting from Cape Peninsula University of Technology. Ishmet also attended Belgravia High School.

They are on a team with Ervin Tu - Group Chief Investment Officer, Aileen O'Toole - Group Chief People Officer, and David Tudor - Group General Counsel. Ishmet Davidson reports to Bob van Dijk, CEO & Executive Director.
