Melissa Marciano

Melissa Marciano currently serves as the Assistant Director of Communications at the Office of the Nassau County Comptroller since January 2022. Prior to this role, Melissa worked as a Legislative Aide for the Town of Hempstead Government and as a Paralegal at Bell Law Group, specializing in personal injury and labor and employment law. Additionally, Melissa held the position of Communications Director for a New York State Senator, where responsibilities included managing constituent relations and communication with local government and media. Melissa’s extensive experience in government and legal assistance also encompasses roles as the Chief of Staff for a Nassau County Legislator and various positions within Nassau County government, including Deputy Press Secretary and Administrative Officer. Education credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in English from Adelphi University and a certificate in Legal Assistant/Paralegal from Nassau Community College.
