David Schimmel

David Schimmel began their work experience as the Manager of Customer Service at First Investors Life Insurance Co. in November 2000. David then worked as the Asst. Vice President of Client Relations from June 2004 to May 2010 and later as the AVP of Business Transformation from June 2010 to July 2013.

From August 2013 to December 2016, they served as the Vice President of Systems at FORESTERS LIFE INSURANCE AND ANNUITY COMPANY, and from January 2017 to July 2020, they held the position of Vice President of Operations at the same company.

Most recently, David Schimmel joined Nassau in July 2020 as the Vice President of Information Technology Services, where they currently hold this role.

David Schimmel earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University at Buffalo, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. David also obtained additional certifications, including a Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) from LOMA and a Series 7 certification from FINRA.
