Tomas Muro

Tomas Muro has been working in the Human Resources field since 1994. Tomas began their career as a Lawyer for Bufete García-San Pedro Morilla, then moved to Confectionery & Consumer Goods Area Manager for Exportastur - Asociación de Empresas Exportadoras Asturianas in 1994. In 1997, they became a Trainer and External Consultant on a freelance basis. From 2000 to 2003, they worked as an HR Manager for ALSA, then moved to Aldeasa Duty Free as an HR Manager in 2003. In 2007, Tomas Muro became the HR Deputy Director for World Duty Free Group, where they were responsible for Recruitment and Selection, Development and Training, and managing a team of four. From 2016 to 2021, they worked as the Division HR Director for the Dufry Group, covering UK, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Russia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Armenia, and Kazakhstan. During this time, they implemented Organization and Human Resources initiatives in the region, with a focus on Talent Management, Expatriation Plans, high level Recruiting, HR Information System, Training and Development, Compensation, and Performance Management. In 2021, Tomas Muro was appointed as the Human Resources Director for Natac.

Tomas Muro obtained their Licentiate degree in Law from Universidad de Oviedo in 1989. In 1993, they completed an Expert degree in International Marketing Strategics from CECO (Centro de Estudios Comerciales). That same year, they also completed a Specialist degree in International Trade from ICEX + Cámara de Comercio e Industria de Oviedo. In 1995, they obtained an MBA from IE Business School. In 2002, they completed an Expert degree in Health & Safety from AFA + FADE. In 2006, they obtained a Master's degree in Human Resources from Centro de Estudios Garrigues. In 2020, they received certifications in Liderazgo creativo, Liderazgo transformador, and Liderazgo ágil: Cómo afrontar la nueva normalidad from LinkedIn.
