Emily is a Researcher in the Health and Social Care team at NatCen.

Emily works across a variety of projects, focusing primarily on qualitative data collection methods, evidence reviews and service evaluations. She is also a Research Ethics Committee member. Prior to joining NatCen, Emily worked for a number of years in the healthcare sector, in legal, policy and strategic roles. Emily holds an MSc in International Social and Public Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and has conducted independent research into health and social issues including the impact of alcohol advertising, sexual exploitation of people with learning disabilities and health inequalities suffered by Looked-after children and young people. Her research interests include health behaviours, social determinants of health and preventative or upstream interventions.
