Ilona Śmigiel has a diverse background in human resources and administration. Their recent work experience includes serving as a Senior Human Resources Partner at NATEK since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Mindbox S.A. from August 2017 to May 2022, where they held the positions of HR and Administration Manager and HR, Payroll and Administration Specialist. Their responsibilities at Mindbox S.A. included managing employee records, payroll coordination, and overseeing operational processes. Before joining Mindbox S.A., Ilona worked as an HR and Payroll Specialist at Deloitte Poland, UCMS Group Poland, and IBM BTO BCS SP Z O.O. Ilona also gained experience as an HR Specialist at Maxus Sp. z o.o. Their expertise includes payroll, employee documentation, and financial audit coordination.

Ilona Śmigiel's education history begins in 2004 when they enrolled in the Higher School of Economics and Law in Kielce. Ilona pursued a Bachelor's degree in Political Science with a focus on Social Communication and Media, completing their studies in 2007. In the same year, they also began studying at the Akademia Świętokrzyska im. Jana Kochanowskiego w Kielcach, where they pursued a Master of Pedagogy degree with a specialization in Resocialization and Social Prevention. Ilona completed their pedagogy studies in 2009.

In 2007, while still studying at the Higher School of Economics and Law, Ilona Śmigiel embarked on a Master of Economics program with a specialization in Economic Policy and Enterprise Strategy at the same institution. Ilona completed this program in 2009.

Fast forward to 2018, Ilona Śmigiel pursued postgraduate management studies at the University of Warsaw, specializing in Human Resource Management. Ilona completed this program in 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Ilona has obtained various certifications. Notably, in November 2019, they acquired certifications in "Characteristics of a Great Scrum Master," "HR as a Business Partner," "Onboarding New Hires (2014)," "Onboarding New Hires as a Manager," "Scrum: The Basics," and "Strategic Human Resources." In recent years, they also obtained certifications in "Human Resources Foundations," "Microsoft Office 365: Administration (Office 365/Microsoft 365)," and "Outlook: Time Management with Calendar and Tasks."
